On May 9, 2026, a special service team composed of the Marketing Department and Technical Department of YANTE set off for Hezhou, Guangxi, to carry out on-site technical support activities for the powder industry lasting more than 10 days. The aim of this activity is to provide local powder enterprises with professional maintenance, usage training and technical consultation for the YT-ACM Automatic Colorimeter, helping customers improve the accuracy and stability of product whiteness and chromaticity testing.

Hezhou is an important hub for China's powder industry. Processors of powder materials such as calcium carbonate, talcum powder and starch have strict requirements for whiteness and chromaticity testing. The YT-ACM Automatic Colorimeter adopts the principle of light reflection and can accurately measure the reflected color, color difference and various whiteness indicators, including D65 brightness (R457 blue‑light whiteness), fluorescent whiteness, CIE whiteness (Ganz whiteness W10 and tint value TW10), ceramic whiteness, Hunter whiteness, etc. It also supports the measurement of yellowness, opacity, transparency, light scattering coefficient and light absorption coefficient – fully covering the core testing needs of the powder industry.

During the activity, YANTE technicians demonstrated the “one‑key testing of whiteness and chromaticity” function of the YT-ACM live. According to actual requirements, customers can use physical samples or data as reference samples. The instrument can store up to 10 reference sample records and features power‑off protection, so calibration data is never lost. In addition, the device is equipped with a Cortex‑M4 ARM processor, supports exporting test data via USB flash drive, and allows system and screen software upgrades via network or USB flash drive. It offers multiple communication methods such as USB and Wi‑Fi (2.4G). When the optional PC software or QMS paper quality management system is used, test data can be uploaded to a cloud server for remote real‑time monitoring.

This on‑site service covered the entire process from equipment commissioning and daily maintenance to data analysis, and provided targeted answers to customers' questions regarding the influence of fluorescent brighteners and specular reflection control. Customers expressed that the face‑to‑face technical communication not only solved practical problems encountered in daily use, but also gave them an intuitive understanding of the high efficiency and stability of the YT-ACM.
