The YT-YS3000A Crush Tester is a new-generation paper testing instrument developed by YANTE in strict accordance with national standards. It is an ideal auxiliary testing tool for compressive strength performance detection of paperboard, serving paper mills, paperboard manufacturers, corrugated box manufacturers, box end-users, and quality supervision and inspection departments.

Equipped with the corresponding auxiliary fixtures, the instrument can perform a variety of paper strength tests:

• Ring Crush Test (RCT) – Determines the ring crush strength of corrugating medium.

• Edge Crush Test (ECT) – Determines the edge crush strength of corrugated board.

• Adhesion Strength Test (PAT) – Determines the adhesion (peel) strength of corrugated board.

• Flat Crush Test (FCT) – Determines the flat crush strength of corrugated board.

• Corrugated Medium Flat Crush (CMT) – Tested with samples prepared using a fluting apparatus.

• Corrugated Medium Edge Crush (CCT) – Tested with samples prepared using a fluting apparatus.

Superior Performance for High Precision and Efficiency

The instrument incorporates a high-precision load cell, ball screw drive, and dual guide shaft design. It is powered by a Cortex-M4 ARM processor and a 24-bit imported analog-to-digital converter, significantly improving response speed and testing accuracy. A 7-inch IPS HD capacitive touchscreen displays the real-time pressure variation curve during testing. The measurement range is default (10–3000) N, customizable to (10–5000) N, with an indication error of ±0.5%, a resolution of 0.1 N, repeatability of ≤0.5%, and a testing speed of (12.5±1) mm/min, adjustable from (1–300) mm/min.

Intelligent Design for an Enhanced User Experience

The instrument features automatic overload reset protection to safeguard the precision sensor and includes a sudden power-off data saving function. Test data can be exported via USB flash drive, and both the system and screen software can be upgraded via network or USB. It supports multiple communication methods including USB and WiFi (2.4G), and the PC software can communicate via WiFi or USB. Test data supports upload to cloud servers and, when integrated with the QMS (Quality Management System) paper quality management software, enables real-time monitoring of paper testing data. A built-in thermal printer allows for convenient printing of individual test results or statistical reports.
