Recently, YANTE  launched the new YT-ATQD Air Permeability Tester. Based on the differential pressure principle, the instrument places a pretreated specimen between the upper and lower measuring surfaces, creating a constant pressure difference on both sides. Gas flows from the high-pressure side through the specimen to the low-pressure side, thereby completing the air permeability test. The product is suitable for paper, paperboard and other sheet-like objects, and meets the requirements of various test methods such as Bendtsen, Gurley and Schopper. It is an ideal device for air permeability testing in the papermaking, packaging and cigarette industries.

The YT-ATQD is controlled by a single-chip microcomputer and realizes fully automatic testing. Its core chip and sensor are imported from the United States, ensuring accurate and reproducible test results. The touch screen supports Chinese and English display, with a simple and friendly interface and convenient operation. The testing process is automatic and fast, and the test curve and results can be displayed in real time. After testing, data is automatically saved, and users can view, delete and print records with one key, as well as perform statistical processing.

In terms of functions, the instrument supports switching between multiple measurement units. It provides two test interfaces: curve display and text display. It supports up to 5-point calibration, as well as single-point calibration, to improve measurement accuracy. The system has multi-level password protection to effectively prevent parameter misoperation, and supports user password modification and a universal password. It also has a factory trial function, allowing users to set trial days; when the trial expires, it can be unlocked with a release code.

To meet the needs of different industries, the YT-ATQD is available in three models: A, B and C. Model A is commonly used for packaging paper and cultural paper, Model B for tobacco industry paper, and Model C for punched paper. The launch of this instrument further improves the automation and convenience of paper air permeability testing, providing reliable and efficient testing solutions for relevant enterprises.
