Zero Span Tensile Tester is used to test the zero tensile strength of laboratory paper sheets. Dry or wet laboratory sheets are made from the slurry, and the measurements can be made wet (undried), dry (humidified), or remoistened. The specimen is clamped on the tensile strength tester with zero clamping distance, and the specimen is stretched until it breaks. Determine the maximum value when the sample breaks, and calculate the zero-span tensile strength and tensile index.
